Stuckless Consulting supports call for federal funding
Stuckless Consulting Inc. is proud to be one of 101 organizations that signed onto a joint statement urging the release of $500 million in federal active transportation funds.
Coordinated by Vélo Canada Bikes, the joint statement was submitted to Minister of Housing and Infrastructure Canada Gregor Robertson in April 2026 and called for the immediate release of committed active transportation funding. The federal government committed $500 million for capital active transportation projects in 2025, but these funds remain unreleased and funding applicants have now been waiting over to hear back.
The letter highlights how this funding can help to deliver on government priorities including improving affordability, addressing the housing crisis, maximizing transit investments, and improving health and climate resilience.
A huge thank you to Vélo Canada Bikes for their work coordinating this statement, and for the opportunity to sign on.
