Stuckless Consulting Inc. has prepared a free e-bike report (2023) that includes insights from e-bike research, an overview of e-bike laws from around the world, stories from people who ride e-bikes, and more!

The Cycling, Energized! Report on the state of e-bikes in Canada was highly informative, addressing many common misconceptions about e-bikes. It was also very helpful that the report included input from bike shops providing adaptive bikes, illustrating the benefits of e-bikes for people with different disabilities. This well-structured report has many examples and useful considerations, making it a useful go-to resource for informing policy and program decisions on e-bikes.

E-Bike Policy Workshops

Cycling, Energized Municipal e-Bike Workshops are designed to help municipalities and regional governments address common concerns related to e-bikes and increase e-bike access and safety. The half-day workshops bring staff together from across departments to learn about best practices and contribute to the development of a local e-bike action plan. Workshops can also include e-bike test rides for staff and community members.

Workshop Overview

Jamie tailor made a workshop for elected officials and staff of four neighbouring municipalities as well as our upper tier. She was well versed on all things e-bikes and her level of preparedness was evident to all. Jamie stickhandled difficult conversations with professionalism, kept everyone engaged, and left attendees feeling inspired.
